The PTM-1260, dubbed "the most powerful twelve-channel power amp in the industry" is ideal for sound reinforcement in a multi-room system for rooms where premium sound is required. This robust amplifier features MOSFET output devices in combination with an all high-current design. Among the PTM-1260's many features is the ability to bridge channel pairs into "ultra high-power" mode. While a formidable power amplifier when left un-bridged, the PTM-1260 delivers unparalleled multi-room sound when set to the bridged position. And since channel pairs can be bridged custom per installation, it is among the only amplifiers we know of that can be bridged from twelve channels to ten, eight or six channels. So while a particular PTM-1260 can be set to run six zones at high-power, another can be set to run three zones at ultra high-power or one zone of ultra high-power and four zones of high-power, or two zones of ultra high-power and two zones of high-power.
