Description
The TSS-1 is a housing for one of ADA's tuner modules. It has audio outputs and an antenna input. There is also an ADA Bus connector for integration into an ADA system. There are no controls on the TSS-1. Modules include standard AM/FM/WX (Weather Band) radio, XM Satellite Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio and HD Digital AM/FM/WX Radio. These tuners also provide bi-directional control and feedback to keypad and touch screens. The XM, Sirius and HD radio modules can provide five lines of text feedback including station, artist and song information as well a genre and station name for XM & Sirius. This makes it easy to surf satellite radio stations by genre and once on a genre, surf just the stations within that genre. Each tuner also holds up to 30 presets that can be loaded and stored from the front of the tuner, its PC setup software or any keypad or control. In addition to the tuner and its modules, ADA also provides antenna combiners, extenders and splitters that make it possible to locate the antennas in the most ideal area of the home (typically an attic or roof location) and running them on a single RG6 coax cable to the equipment mainframe. ?
