The Suite 8300, while identical to ADA's award winning Suite 8200, comes in a 3 rack-unit chassis. New though is the addition of an RS-232 port making the Suite 8300 ideal for system integration - all at the same price of a Suite 8200. The story of the Suite 8300 is hence the same. When it comes to entry-level multi-room receivers, there are a myriad of options on the market. Their focus is to let you listen to different sources simultaneous with little regard to sound quality. Ask yourself, is it HiFi just because they say so? At ADA, we took on the task of developing a true high performance, all-in-one multi-room solution. For starters, compared to most four or six zone receivers, the Suite 8300 is an eight (8) zone system. Two Suite 8300s can be combined for up to sixteen zones! And, because the Suite 8300 is dedicated first and foremost to great sound, it features a current driven Class A/B power amplifier that is stable to 4 Ohms, providing a warm and rich musical experience, even at low volume levels. Suite 8300 also features preamplified audio outputs for each zone permitting you to add additional power amplification where needed. Zones 1 and 2 feature a subwoofer output. And while so many other "multi-room receivers" offer only one basic AM/FM radio, Suite 8300 features dual luxury radio tuners -- HD Digital AM/FM Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio or XM Satellite. Best of all, you get to pick which two (2) tuners you want. You can opt for HD Radio and either Sirius or XM satellite radio, two HD Radios, or even two satellite radio tuners. Suite 8200 combines ADA's luxurious sound and superior performance in a single chassis. Is it HiFi? Yes, it's superior multi-room fidelity and we can say so. While the Suite 8400 and Suite 8500 also feature an RS-232 port, in addition to ADA keypad/touchscreen connectivity and an IR learner/controller, the Suite 8300 is ideal for systems designed to be controlled by only third-party control systems. Alternately, if front panel control is desired in these installations, the Suite 8500's front panel touchscreen makes an ideal back-up control interface.
