Camouflage or Eye catcher??? The concept for Artcoustic evolved from the idea of providing an exclusive loudspeaker system to consumers that shared a passion for superb sound quality and a preference for design that reflected their own personalities and tastes.
The Artcoustic loudspeaker range has been designed for today’s diverse interiors for the home, home cinemas, corporate boardrooms, professional recording studios, restaurants and hotels. The loudspeakers are flat, only 6cm and 12.7cm deep. The sleek design gives the loudspeaker the character of a picture that can hang discreetly on the wall. This is enhanced by the individual freedom that allows the customer to choose the look of the front of the speakers.
Home and commercial interiors have always been very important to the Danes and in the past few years this has become a top priority. Artcoustic builds loudspeakers with this in mind and allows customers to personalize and completely match their interior, says Artcoustic Co-founder and Creative Director Patricia Ljungberg . Artcoustic offers the customer a wide variety of images and access to their exclusive Getty Images Gallery photo archives. However, the customer can also specify their own personal pictures to decorate the fronts resulting in a bespoke design. |

| Cabasse. A good-sounding name, but where does it come from? Founded in 1950 by Georges Cabasse, the Cabasse firm inherited not only its creator’s name, but also his genius. Georges Cabasse is from the world of music, and he is gifted with a special talent. He has a unique memory for sounds. Probably a gift from his ancestors, hailing back to a stringed instrument maker who crafted the first violin signed Cabasse in 1740 at Mirecourt in the Vosges Mountains. Five generations of craftsmen followed him, pursuing the tradition and supplying Europe with violins, violas and cellos, most of which are still being played in orchestras today. The fact remains that Georges Cabasse’s obsession is to perfectly reproduce the concerts he loves, without any alteration, coloration or distortion in the sound. This boundless passion has led him to relentlessly innovate, transmit and share his exacting requirements with the rest of the Cabasse team, so that all ears can enjoy the essence and thrill of pure sound. |
